François Pauly appointed new Chairman of the Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the insurance companies within the LALUX Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. François Pauly as Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective May 1, 2026 Changement Prés... final.pdf. After 24 years at the helm, Mr. Pit Hentgen has decided to step down from his functions at the general meeting on April 23, 2026. The Board wishes to express its deep appreciation to Mr. Pit Hentgen for his remarkable commitment and the decisive contribution he has made to the development and prominence of the Group over the past decades. He will continue his work within the Group as a member of the Board of Directors.

A Successor Rooted in the Group's History

François Pauly, grandson of one of the historical founders of LA LUXEMBOURGEOISE, Aloyse Hentgen, possesses extensive experience within the Group. As a member of the Board of the Compagnie Financière LA LUXEMBOURGEOISE since 1995 and Chairman of its Board since 2012, he brings a profound understanding of LALUX's strategy and values. His assumption of the chairmanship of the LALUX Group Board will ensure the continuity of the Group's strategic vision.

A Smooth Transition

To ensure full continuity of the General Management and operational stability of the Group, Christian Strasser will continue in his role as General Manager.
